Doesn't your DSL vendor provide installation support? You paid them for this, after all.

Damn. He was definitely one of my favorite comedians. His standup was awesome, and he was the only reason I watched any of Comedy Central's roasts. Wish it was Carlos Mencia or Dane Cook instead. **** sux.

Hi,
Just wondering is it possible to return an ACD that I've had for 4 days even though I no longer have the packaging? What are Apple's termsand conditions on this sought of thing, becaus the monitor has a fault which is Apple's but I no longer have the packaging but only the original receipt. Also I ordered it off the Apple online store, is it possible for me to take it to a Apple store and get it exchanged in store as that would be much quicker and easier for me.
Thanks alot fo any help.

Does your '08 MBP have switchable graphics? If so, are you sure that you're on the high-end graphics? My mid-'10 MBP doesn't have smooth Expos animations when on the integrated (inferior) graphics. Also, you should try the 2GB RAM (just for the sake of eliminating that variable; replacing the RAM would be the easiest solution if it were that).

I installed Coolbook on my 13" just now. Will see how that goes. Any one else use Coolbook, what settings did you choose.
edit: 12 hours later; Coolbook solved the problem. Roaring fan noise gone. Was easy to install and set up to!

Looking for an Ipod touch 32gb for my sister. Would prefer to be in mint/pristine condition, and willing to pay about $300-$325 for it depending on the condition. If you are looking to unload yours, let me know. I am located in CA.
Have feedback on ebay under pegasusxpc.

Grab a 4GB for $299 while you can. No one that just spent $500 or $600 is going to be willing to let it go for these prices. I know I wouldn't. Wait a few months and I'm sure they will be going for these prices.

Photoshop is terrible for pixel art. The right mouse button contextual menu slows things down - though it is great for alpha channels and scaling without filters.
For pure pixel art I use the art editor in a PC app called MMF2. Other pixel artist buddies used to use Graphics Gale, I believe that used to be the standard.
Unfortunately these are all PC only. Though I imagine they could be emulated under OSX just fine.

Yo!! I am a Switcher as of yesterday!! Instead of throwing my Compaq, I took my boyfriend's advice and bought a beautiful new 12" iBook. MacManDan is my hero - thanks honey!
Anyway, I have a concern
I'm planning on purchasing an iSight sometime in the near future because my current webcam isn't mac compatible. I'm addicted to this dumb program called ivisit (www.ivisit.com), but I'm not sure if the iSight will be compatible.
Does anyone have an iSight and know if it works with ivisit? Thanks!

Why not contact them for support?
Most people with godaddy accounts are incapble of supporting you, because advanced users don't use godaddy.

Folks - I am a newbie when it comes to the Apple products. I have had my iPhone4 since last August and just got the iPad2 on launch day. I hardly ever sync my iPad2 however i did when 4.3.1 came out and I noticed a lot of my apps for the IP4 are now on my IP2.
Is there a setting or something I am missing that I need to keep my app's separate between these 2 devices? I will start going through itunes to see if I see any settings outside of checking the boxes for the apps to appear on a device.
If there is a thread that outlines this somewhere that will work as well. I did a quick search but didn't find anything.

At first glance it seems like it has nothing to do with iMovie, but once look around you will notice it is everything to do with iMovie. Great site, thanks for the link! :)

What the hell?
Looks like crap inside. Where is the CPU?
I think that's why it's not user accessible?

The lights in the room and the TV have different color temperatures (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature#TV.2C_video.2C_and_digital_still_cameras). Tungsten lights, which are typical indoor lights, have a color temp of about 3200K. The TV is probably operating around 6500k if not higher.
The only way to fix this is to get everything working at the same color temp (or at least close enough). Many TVs allow you to adjust the color temp in the menu but I don't know if you'll be able to adjust it enough to fix the problem. Another solution is the replace the light bulbs in the room w/ones of a higher color temp or buy some CTB (Color Temperature Blue) 'gels' to place over the lights. The gels are basically thin, colored sheets of plastic. The final solution is to place a CTO (Color Temperature Orange) gel over the screen of the TV but it could be tricky to do that and keep it from being obvious that there is a sheet of plastic covering the TV screen.
If you've already shot the footage and you have no way to shoot it again and having the TV screen being too blue is unacceptable you can try and fix it a program like Final Cut or After Effects but the process can range from maddening (the camera isn't on a tripod and the speaker keeps waving their hands in front of the TV screen) to dead simple (the camera is on a tripod and never movies and the speaker never gets close to the TV screen).

The 'Save Track' option doesn't involve transcoding, but it may involve rewrapping.
Thanks..rewrapping is what I'm looking to do if I can't actually demux.
(knew I'd get myself jumbled up)

Well the first thing I'd say is, if you value your iPod, keep it away from things that can "squish" it. ;)
That being said, Otterbox is known for it's heavy duty cases. Maybe one of these will help. http://www.otterbox.com/apple-ipod-cases/apple-ipod-cases,default,sc.html
Also since you don't want a cover, this might be a bit over kill but still useful:

As far as I know, there is no way to use exchange 2003 on outlook it even says so on the box.
Yes, exchange 2003 does work on iPad/ iPhone because it uses a mobile email.
We pay a company who hosts our exchange emails ALOT of money per month and they can't figure it out other than to upgrade to exchange 2007/2010. If they can't figure it out, I don't think there is a way cause they can't afford to lose our account.
