I think cement and gravity are more of a killer to an iPod than a Microsoft product will ever be.

That may be ok in iOS and on my iPad as it is easy to use with touch technology, but as more and more business professionals are adopting mac laptops, iMacs or Mac Pros - that is very unprofessional looking to be on a potential business computer. I know Apple wants to be uniform across devices and we are moving closer and closer to everything being iOS as the main operating system. But seriously, businesses will think that is not professional and we are going back to the non-uniform weird looking DOS-based application days. It is true, there is no uniforminality in the apps in the app store. It is having a consistent UI that made it easier for everyone to adopt Windows back in the day. Every application had the same looking and functionality in the GUI; so there was no learning curve.
That iCal may be easy to use, but is unprofessional looking for potential business computers. Also, many people use ical as it integrates so well with other applications. I still say combine Apple Mail, iCal, and address book into 1 application - so I do not have to have 3 apps open taking up screen space and using more resources. That is what we have in Windows and Linux.
AND KEEP IT PROFESSIONAL LOOKING!

After Jobs walks out, but before he starts the Keynote. Someone should ask Steve to empty his pockets. First the mini, then the nano, this time should be the Video iPod. I am hoping for a couple more things this Keynote.

I'm happy with my 2.13 Ghz 13" MBA right now.
I have and enjoy it now - that's what counts!
So, it's only my lust for 11" might push me to "upgrade" this year .... and only if they add SD reader and keyboard backlight :p
But a year from now, I certainly will be happy to switch to Intel GPU
I hear it'll be much upgraded in Ivy Bridge - twice as fast and stuff

It annoys me too but it works out pretty well for Apple and I'd much rather pay extra for the i7 than not have the option at all. Look at the latest MBPs compared to the previous ones, Apple bumped the GPUs up significantly but charged $200 more and yet everyone is happy.

I strongly suggest against a refurbished model of older revisions. It is similar to purchasing a Core 2 model. The base 21.5" Sandy Bridge once it hits refurb would be tempting at ~$999.

There's a 3.33GHz core 2 duo on there for $1040, and a 3.06GHz Core i3 for $930; same GPU different HDD size. The i3 would be the better choice if one weren't able to get the extra $200 or so for a new model.
This is the first worthwhile iMac solely based on the stillborn potential of Thunderbolt and the quad on the base models. It only took 5 years.

It's only ****ing capitalism when Apple does something and has the audacity to charge for it. When any other company does it, it's just good business.
People will complain about anything.
I take it with a grain of salt, there's not that many people that are truly Anti-Apple, and those are the ones I don't care about anyway.
Bottom line, I get to enjoy lots of Apple gear, AND benefit as my stock skyrockets.
Now that, is the "Magic" of great Apple Hype, Marketing, and Influence.

Yeah. I'll be calling Brea tomorrow to vent, but I doubt that will get me anywhere.
And FWIW, most of the AT&T stores here in Fullerton/Brea didn't get any iPads. Makes you wonder how many of each model Apple actually got. Nobody seemed to be touching those Verizon iPads with a 10 foot pole.
