Had a SGP on my Droid and it was very good, but I am not using a protector on my IP4. I don't think it needs it.

hey all,
*i am* not actually selling this on MR, but a friend of mine wanted to know what a fair asking price for this would be. given it's two years old and its battery life is not what it used to be, what would a good price be? i figured my smart mac friends would know, even though this IS MR lol. thanks in advance.

I noticed that some slides consistently add 3 or 4 seconds to what I type in ie if I type in "1" second, it'll show up as "4" seconds.
Check iMovie Preferences, there is an option to display times as HH:MM:SS or not. Change the setting from what it is, and I think that will solve the above.

I have had the same problem. We have over 60 wikis and fixing this problem is really time consuming. Using the terminal does us no good because we have a bunch of different users and groups. I really hope Apple comes up with a fix for this soon. If anyone else has come up with a faster way t fix this I am all ears.

The PowerBook G4 Aluminum page is ready.
And I have an idea on how to take care of all this empty pages...
1. We get the pages ready with a correct layout. Overview, specs, history, all that. But leave 'em blank.
2. Open to the public of MacRumors
3. Keep a careful watch on them
4. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
Sound like a good idea? The only thing that this requires us to do is have us keep close watch on the pages to make sure information is correct, etc. But the minions-- er, valued members of MacRumors can help out this way. I'm sure that quite a number of them know at least something about various elderly Macs.

Can u actually use that number to make calls and not get charged on your minutes?
No. Your minutes are still used.
also is there a monthly charge for the service?
No. Unless you put a price on Google having all of your call/SMS data.
kind of confused as to what the purpose is and how it works?
It's a web-based PBX. You can forward calls from your GV number to another number to protect your "private" number. You can block certain callers from calling you based on predefined rules. You can send SMS messages through GV over your data plan instead of your texting plan (for example, I don't have a texting plan anymore because I barely use data). These are just a few examples of how GV can work for you.

Do you know the meaning of the word "NDA"?
Well, to be fair to the OP, you can get Xcode 4.01 from the App Store for $4.99 on any Mac without agreeing to an NDA or any of the iOS/OSX developer program rules.
I agree that a patching system would make a huge difference, especially at this early stage of Xcode 4.x's development. I expect we'll see frequent updates as features are finalized and issues are discovered and cleared.

Can I use this drive to replace the one that just died in my PowerBook G4 1.67, 15" DLSD/HR Aluminum?
http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-2-5-Inch-Notebook-WD6400BEVT/dp/B002QAXZZY/ref=sr_1_3
Most of the replacement drives I see are 160Gb except for this one which is 640Gb and only a few dollars more. It sounds too good to be true so I want to be sure it will work in my PowerBook.
Thanks.

That is one power-hungry clock!
Anyway, as others have said, use the Cmd-Opt-X-O to boot the ROM disk if you prefer (or you can set up a system to boot from floppy that loads a RAM drive, then run from the RAM drive,) to minimize even the floppy use.
If all that is going on is minimal clock processing and the CRT, you can probably get away with no fan. Maybe find a newer/quieter fan to put in instead if you're really worried.

What is the model number of the combo drive? (I'm wondering if it will work in my slot-loading iMac G3).
I'm in Baltimore and would be glad to meet you halfway.

if you already have wired connections to the 2 remotes it should work with the linksys.
make sure you have the same SSID and security settings on all 3 routers, you have to pay attention, since the security terminology might be slightly different and you need to make sure it's the same setting even if it's a different name.
also make sure you have the expresses in bridge mode.
your device will automatically pick the strongest signal.
also you won't be able to "connect to the linksys" as you will pick your network name, and won't know which of the 3 bases you're connected to*.
*you can figure out which one you're connected to by option-clicking on the airport item in your menu bar and looking at the BSSID and comparing that mac address to your airports and linksys.

I could be completely wrong, but it might refer to the case color having a shiny flake in the plastic. Like glitter. Think of a car paint job with shiny metallic flecks of glittery shimmers in it.
I know speck has made cases like that in the past. I could be off base though.
