I had a PC with a Virgin supplied Netgear N series router. I've still got the PC which my 6 year old uses, but have since (and finally) moved to an iMac which works fine with the Netgear router. I've also got an iPad and iPod Touch which connect fine to the router (network name is cheekub). I've recently bought an Airport Expresss for a different room which is connected by a 3.5mm jack from it to a set of Apple Hifi speakers (this network is called test). The Airport Express router is used to enable me to play all the music on my iPod Touch wirelessly through the speakers. However to use my iPod Touch to access the internet or my iPad to play music on it through the Apple speakers wirelessly, I have to change from one user name to the other; chhekub or test in the iPad or iPod's settings which is a bit of a hassle every time. My main question is, how do I combine both routers/names to one, or do I need a second Airport Express to enable me to do this?

could you possibly be more specific? what is it telling you? why can't you install your copy? Is it the original copy that came with the iMac??

the new spymac is great, especially the spydisk. 100 MB of online disk space that mounts on the OS X desktop.
Where else would it mount?
So anyone know if I can buy an iWalk in the new auction area or maybe my email off a spam list?

If you have to ask these type of questions, you should just use OS X client. You can still run a "server" with the client.

That is correct for the sawtooth, I think, it might be only 1.5Gb of ram though. The B&W I think is the same.

My custom, education AppleCare agreement took very good care of me. Fixed problems in an instant even if you don't ask & sent out a new machine when I did ask.

Make sure you have a mac-intel and not mac-Gxx. Snow Leopard does not work on the Gxx
MacBook is intel (10.6 capable). G4 is PowerBook or iBook.

Buy an AppleTV and AirPlay your movies from iPad to tv. Or use AppleTV to play movies from your computer. Use AppleTV setting in handbrake. Abandon the DVD thing altogether.

An RGB Scart cable will give you the best picture possible from the console itself. How well the TV handles the signal and the actual picture quality is another matter entirely.
If you have an original MD and you want stereo, you'll need a Scart cable that has a seperate heahphone jack coming from it that plugs into the front of the console. The MD2 outputs stereo from it's AV port so it's much neater. It's quite simple to build your own (http://www.gamesx.com/avpinouts/genesisav.htm).

Well I know the mac Plus is supposed to support up to 2TB of Hard Disk Space, so I assume the SE/30 would also.
I don't understand why you want a 9.1GB Hard Disk in a Mac SE/30.
The reason why the Hard Disk may not want to work is because the hard disk is Ultra160 SCSI the SE/30 has a normal SCSI bus, which may be too slow for the Ultra160 SCSI HD (Just guessing)

No, not really. If there aren't any jailbreak only applications on it I'd say it's not jailbroken.
I guess you could plug it into a computer and see if all the applications show up in the application organizer. If not all applications are there then it's likely that it's jailbroken.

I recommend that adapter (it's from IDE&ATA[and some others] to USB 2.0). It's good for quick transfers of data from bare hard drives and you can always use it again in the future. Quite a useful gadget to have lying around.

Consider the Dell UltraSharp monitors. They have IPS panels and the 23" U2311H has very accurate colors. Of all the monitors I've looked at, used and calibrated, this has had the most accurate colors out of the box. Dell is always having sales on their monitors every other day or week. Trust me, you want a monitor with some sort of IPS technology. Your not going to buy an IPS monitor at a Best Buy or Staples.

Hi
Not highjacking your thread but I have a similar problem with a keyboard here.
Does not matter what wired keyboard I plug into my Mac Pro ( I have a couple ) the brightness keys (F1 &F2) do not work.
The keyboards and everything else (monitors) all work fine in other combinations, it is just the Mac Pro, have not tried a wireless keyboard, I have one somewhere, will give it a try.
Now you have posted this I see this as a USB circuit issue.

I installed dual video cards in my 06 Mac Pro a couple of weeks ago and the GPU/HDD fan runs at higher RPMs continually now. I'm guessing its just the mac pro increasing airflow to prevent overheating.

Considering single proc G4 powerbooks, ibooks, mini's, and eMacs are running Tiger I'd say yer fine. ;)
BTW, the dual 1ghz Quicksilver was the last one. If you have a dual 1.42ghz you have a MDD (mirror door drive). :)
