i recommend the marware sportgrip bumper... had it since day one and is just a nice way to add comfort while typing as well as adding a good layer of protection.

Did you go to file > project properties.. photo duration.. apply to all photos?
That works for me.

I don't believe there will be a great difference between the 6750 and the 6770.

It looks to me like an issue of IE's box model. Try adjusting the widths of your "main" and "photo" divs as well as the padding between them to get them both to fit into your "container" div. You might also try just increasing the width of your container div slightly.
If that doesn't work, check out this article on IE's expanding box bug (http://www.positioniseverything.net/explorer/expandingboxbug.html).

Hi All,
I'm contemplating jumping to a MBP and would need to sell my current MB to make it happen.
It's a white C2D dual-core 2.0GHz, 80GB HD, 3GB RAM with box, discs, etc. all in like-new condition (battery at 96% health with less than 50 cycles). I also would be including a 13" iLap stand, mini-to-DVI adapter, and an extra Apple AC adapter (I like to leave one in my computer room and have another to travel with).
mac2sell shows the MB alone at $1040 or so. I was thinking $1000 + $50 shipping for the entire package. Does that sound reasonable? High/low?
Thanks,
Mike

As Applespider said you'll just need a 3-pin plug adaptor.
I strongly recommend that you buy your PB in the States and don't pay extra for our silly UK prices!

A microphone signal output is too low to plug right into your computer. This is where a microphone pre amp comes in,it boosts the gain of the signal to a high enough level to record with your PC.I think a hardware compressor would be of use.Saving you possible processing time on the computer, but I don't think you really need it.I imagine they employ some safety measures like this in broadcast.

The flash=No SEO isn't as true anymore as long as it's built properly, google can index flash now; but you don't and you get the SEO value of h tags with flash if you do proper Flash detection, including alternate HTML content.
Fixed that for you.;)

http://ae.tutsplus.com/ - free, all sorts of tutorials
www.lynda.com - not free, but quite good tutorials
www.videocopilot.net - free, but more action orientated tutorials
I second the video copilot site....
Once you go through some of the tutorials you will undertand what can be done and then combine what you are looking to do into your own creations

Keep it and use it for vintage computing (see how much modern stuff those old 68K machines are capable of... sometimes its scary how much of what I do on my Mac Pro I could just as easily do on a Quadra 900)

Hey guys,
I have a pair of noise-canceling headphones I plug into my Macbook, but unfortunately I sometimes can't hear my phone ringing right across from me, which is pretty annoying
Is it possible to plug one pair of headphones into two devices, so that it will receive audio from both my macbook and phone? I don't really know how the wiring works but are there splitters that go from 1 female plug to 2 male plugs?
Thanks
A simple y-cable will not work very well. The simplest thing that can work is a "passive mixer". These are just some jacks and a few resistors. But they cut the sound volume
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SplitMix4
The ideal thing would be a "real mixer" Mixers allow you to plug in multiple sources and set a volume for each of them and then monitor the mix using headphones. I used this setup to practice electric guitar and listen to a metronome. I plugged the guitar mini-amp into the mixer and the metronome. What a mass or wires but it works
do NOT buy a cheap mixer, audio quality is not good and they will have a lot of self noise (hiss) one of these is not bad.

But wouldn't it be easier to set the phone to flash or vibrate?

Hi,
I'm looking for a recommendation for a file sharing service where I can configure individual users with passwords.
So for example when john logs on he can see my files only intended for him.
I need to be able to upload files up to 100mb and I don't want just anyone to be able to access them.
Can you recommend a good service that works for you?

If you mount the disc on OS X and see the ISO file you did it wrong. Download Burn OS X and make sure you burn it as a disc image not a file.

Hi, Im a collage student who is taking the plunge and buying a mac in the summer when i get the money. By then i will already own an iPad 2 so the portability doesn't really bother me. But was looking for a good computer to have for things that aren't that great on the iPad (i.e. essay writing). I don't own any other the things expected to be with a mac mini (keyboard, mouse).
Anybody owned both and have a preference or can recommend either a mac mini or macbook. :):)

A friend of mine is buying a Les Paul Standard and he's going to USA in May.
He need the guitar to be shipped to the hotel where he is staying.
He wants a new guitar, not second hand.
In Norway where we live a Les Paul Standard costs about $4000, and i guess you can get it for the half in USA.
I myself have bought several guitars in USA and got them shipped to the hotel where I was staying, but that's almost ten years ago.
(Bought a almost new Nighthawk Standard 3 pickup for $900 back in '96, and a used Strat Plus Deluxe for $800 in '01, those costed over twice as much used here)
Any tips about where to order, it has to be a reputable dealer.
Thanks in advance!

I believe the mall doors open at 7 am. That being said, I doubt you'll be able to 'get in and get out' with the predicted lineups. A friend and I are aiming to be there at 8 am but I think there will be a lineup of over 100 people by then. Just my prediction. We'll see. And I don't think the lineups are going to cease at all. They'll run out of devices before the ques run out of people.

Wow, so we're seeing a Ninja Gaiden game because "they chose to go with the Nintendo DS over the PSP specifically because of the stylus". Cool as. I really enjoyed the difficulty of Ninja Gaiden, from all systems I suppose! Picked it up for the NES not so long ago and the Xbox version. Sounds like something to look forward to.
