The G20 is a suped up Nissan Sentra. My former colleague used to drive it and she hated it as it was a total lemon. The fact Infinit discountinued the model tells you how bad the car was (over priced and mediocore performance). On the contrary, the new G should be a good car as it is based on the longer wheel-based Nissan Z. While Z is plagued with the front wheel feathering gremlin, I have not heard the similar problem with G (maybe G has the different suspension geometry). I heard G's paint is very thin. So, some auto enthusiasts recommend the clear bra for G to protect the front end from paint chips.

Reinstall the OS.
If you do an "Archive and Install" type of installation, it'll be very easy and will keep all the bookmarks, personal info, photos, music, documents, and everything else in your home folder intact.
Sweet, eh?

Have you tried applying a screen shield like SGP or Powersupport with water?
It should make it much easier to align and also eliminate all the bubbles or dust, InvisibleShield is applied with water, why shouldn't a normal one work?... Still it's better to ask though.
I have definitely heard of people using water for dry application screen shields. I have never done it myself as I seem to get them on perfect each time  Not sure how though!

First, I'd like to know why you want it on the Desktop, you could just put it into the dock. But you can drag the Internet Explorer icon to the Desktop while holding Alt+Command (I'm not so sure, as I'm not on my Mac at the moment, just drag it and try some keys until you see the + symbol). This creates a shortcut to the app on your Desktop.

The Apple Store in the Westchester Mall is FULL of iPhone 3Gs. I was there today around 5, there is no line, and behind the counter are just boxes of iPhone 3Gs, everywhere. I would guess around 40 or so visible, from just one counter. In the back, in the other side, or another counter they may be even more. People were buying them nonchalantly as if they were available for months.
Unless I havent heard something about the lines, if you are in New York City or anywhere on the Metro North Harlem Line, take the train to North White Plains and you can get an iPhone 3G easily.

Sorry to be slow to respond. Like most Chrome apps, it's just a snippet packaged for the Chrome store that when activated, opens the Macrumors site. It shows up in the main Chrome menu for easy access, instead of in the harder-to-reach bookmarks menu. It's main advantage is in being a better alternative to a Macrumors bookmark for people like me who live in Google's ecosystem and/or use Chrome OS devices.
Ya PM me a link for the files or whatever. I'll give it a whirl.

while not exactly mac-related, this has potential to be some really cool stuff.

The link to the original doesn't seem to be working.
You could cntrl click on the folders and have a look at the display options there.

For your text ( #membershipcontent ), remove the "position: relative" and/or "left: 285px"
Think of relative positioning as a "nudge" -- the browser does most of the rendering and then moves any elements relatively positioned by the number of pixels you tell it. In your case, 285px on the left which bumps it to the right.

Do you have to be a student to buy from your campus store?
Don't think so I've bought Apple merchandise at NMSU, no has ever asked me for an ID or any other proof of being student/faculty/staff. However, I am a student, so maybe they're just used to seeing my face.
Look at it this way, the worst they can tell you is "no." Personally, I doubt that will happen.

Thanks, I've just ordered it
Just gotta work out how to clone my old hard drive to it when it arrives so I don't have to faff around re-installing everything
I don't have a SATA caddy so wonder if I can clone my existing drive to an external then clone it back with the new, blank drive installed in the machine...is this do-able?
Yes, that works if the external HDD is using "Mac OS Extended" as format and "GUID" as partition scheme. But USB enclosures for 2.5" S-ATA HDDs can be had for 10 €.

If they've come from a stills camera, they should be in iPhoto. If you've imported them into iMovie, select a clip in the Events Library, right click and select "Show in Finder".

YLOD last night.
Talked to Sony this morning and they were very very helpfull (sarcasm) Basically my options are to buy a new one, Send my old one in and get a refurb, or go take a toss.
The thing Last week I just bought a new HDD. If I get a new one and put that HDD in to it, will all my Data be there already?
I have everything backed up from the transfer as well.
I'm mainly concerned with my game saves. The thought of starting GT5 all over again makes me shudder...
If you backed up your game saves on a USB stick or memory card you are fine. The HD will only work in the PS3 it was installed in, the minute you install it in another PS3 it will reformat it. Backups are only good for the PS3 you made them on, you cannot restore to another PS3.
Just because they didn't give you a new one for free doesn't mean they weren't helpful, its electronics, they break, just ask 360 owners. I just had to replace my 60GB launch with a slim not so long ago for the same reason, luckily I was smart enough to backup my save games to a memory stick.

I've got a wired Mighty Mouse I have no need for. It's barely used, which means the scroll ball is very clean. I'm looking to sell this for $20 shipped. I accept PayPal and will ship to the lower 48 states in the US. If you want me to ship it elsewhere, you will need to cover the extra expenses.
Send a PM my way if you're interested.

I'm not sure if my topic makes sense, but is there anyway to run parallels without having to reinstall everything again? I have bootcamp setup so is there anyway to run this partition hard drive in parallels?
Does this even make sense?

Busted woofer surrounds sound like cracking and flapping on loud bass. Blown tweeters just don't work and make the speaker sound muddy. I'm not sure what hissing is. Could be an amp issue. Try switching speakers to see if the problem moves with the suspected bad one.

What about connecting a PS3 to a monitor without built-in speakers?
I don't have a PS3, so I can't test this, but it looks like you should be able to force the PS3 to output audio separately from HDMI. It sounds like you can get away with just regular component cables for sound (as long as you don't want 5.1 or 7.1 surround), but take a look here (http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/audiooutput.html) and see if you can make sense of it. Like I say, I don't have a PS3, so I'm just guessing...
